1970’s

William Hanford MS ’77, RRT ‘79, was presented with the 2005 Distinguished Alumni Award by the School of Health Technology and Management during the annual Distinguished Alumni Award lecture series.

 
1980’s

Patty Mills (Lowe) '83, is working as an independent contractor performing echocardiograms and stress echos in the offices of local cardiologists in the lower Hudson Valley, NY. She and her husband, Jim Lowe, PA '83, live in Chester, NY with their two children, aged 15 and 11.

Daniel Bertone '87, now resides in Tennessee, where he works as a cardiovascular medical equipment sales representative for Siemens Cardiovascular.

 
1990’s

Daniel Ritchel '97, is currently the director of the Respiratory Care Department at
Brunswick Hospital Center, located in Amityville, New York

 
2000’s

Michael Vanderhoof '04, and his wife are proud parents of Michael Jr. born in April 2005.

Anu Markose '05, was the 2004 recipient of the Al Geiger MemorialScholarship, presented by the New York State Society for Respiratory Care-Southeastern Chapter and Tyco Healthcare in recognition of academic excellence in respiratory care.  Markose also received a Stony Brook University undergraduate recognition award for excellence and outstanding achievement, and was presented with the 2005 SHTM Alumni Scholarship at the First Annual Salute to the Graduates, held in June.

Other members of the Class of '05 were also recognized for their scholarly
achievements. Miranda Chung, Alma Quintanilla and Victoria Reyes all received student
leadership awards at the annual campus life awards ceremony this spring. Congratulations
to all, you are a credit to the profession!
