Invasive tubulobular carcinoma
The small, rounded ducts formed by a single layer of tumor cells with a similar cytologic appearance to the invasive single cells is characteristic for tubulolobular variant of invasive lobular carcinoma. This is one of the four main variants of lobular carcinoma including pleomorphic, alveolar, and solid.
