Fibroadenoma, intracanalicular pattern. An intracanalicular pattern is produced when the stroma proliferates enough to compress ducts into elongated linear branches with slit-like lumens. The stroma varies from fibroadenoma to fibroadenoma but is usually homogenous in any one given lesion. This is an important distinction from phyllodes tumors which can have stromal heterogeneity.
