The School of Dental Medicine is one of the first schools in the nation to have a paperless clinic operation.
The computerization of the dental care center/clinic, completed summer of '03, made Stony Brook one of the first schools to have a paperless clinic. This state of the art computerization makes patient records, treatment plans and scheduling available on line. This $2 million project changes dental education and prepares students for the future. Your contribution directly supports this innovation in dental education. There are more especially meaningful opportunities to support this renovation.
Have you considered having your name on an operatory or a piece of equipment within the operatory? If you have, we have an opportunity for you. The clinic rehabilitation and simulation laboratory provide you with many options to demonstrate your enthusiasm for maintaining the highest quality dental education possible at Stony Brook. Sponsorship of an operatory for $20,000 or a dental chair for $10,000 ensures a bright future for a well-trained Stony Brook graduate. Your gift will make a significant difference in the quality of dental education and your name becomes part of the great legacy of Stony Brook.
Don't let your enthusiasm wane at the price tag of sponsorship. Gifts can be made over a period of years to accommodate your budget. You can also be part of a 'Group Gift'. When you commit to $500 a year for 4 years you will be recognized, along with similar donors on a plaque in an operatory.
