EMT-Paramedic Admission Requirements

All offers of admissions into the EMT-Paramedic non-credit program are conditional. Requirements for admission into the non-credit program are as follows:

• Maintain an overall senior year G.P.A. of 2.5.
• Successfully complete all fall semester course work.
• Achieve NYS Emergency Medical Technician Certification before the start of the non-credit program.
• Successfully complete each of the following courses with a minimum grade of C and an overall spring semester G.P.A. of 2.5
  • HAN 370 Pre-hospital Care: Lecture and Lab
  • HAN 472 Weapons of Mass Destruction
  • HAN 473 Emergency Response to Terrorism
  • HAN 477 HAZMAT Training for EMS
