Students Completing Clinical Internships

Students who are also enrolled in Stony Brook's Dietetic Internship Program have the option to pursue a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management; students can choose either the management or the policy concentration. The Master of Science Degree Program is offered by the School of Health Technology and Management.  For students enrolled in Stony Brook's Dietetic Internship, the MS in Health Care Policy and Management cannot be completed in one calendar year.  Dietetic interns wishing to complete our master's degree will need a minimum of 18-24 months to meet all master's requirements. While completing your dietetic internship, you would complete your on-campus required courses for the master's degree.  Additional master's courses may be taken as on-line courses once you leave the Stony Brook campus.  Upon completion of the internship, you would not need to be located on Long Island.
