Tuition and Fees

Part-time graduate tuition for New York State residents is $349 for in-state and $552 for out-of-state students/credit. Other University fees and text book costs apply. Detailed information regarding all fees, charges, and financial aid can be found in the Financial Information section of the Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center Bulletin 2008-2010 and at the University website for tuition and fees (see graduate tuition and fees section). Additional information can be found at the bursar’s website.

All tuition and fees are subject to change. Additional fees and charges may be incurred with late registration or late payment.


Students must be matriculated into the program AND take a minimum of 6 credits to apply for federal aid. Students who do not fit into the above category can apply for personal or alternative loans from an outside lending source. Questions pertaining to financial aid should be directed the Health Sciences Center Office of Student Services at 631-444-2111, extension 2 (Financial Aid/Billing).
