Polysomnographic Technology Program
Admission Requirements

     The prerequisites for the program are as follows:

  • Associates degree, or higher
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5
  • Minimum science grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • Completion with a grade of C or better: 6 credits of arts & humanities, 3 credits of English composition, 3 credits of college level mathematics, 6 credits of social and behavioral sciences, 6 credits of biology, 4 credits of physics, and 8 credits of chemistry   
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
    • Student must maintain current BLS certification while enrolled in the program.
  • A course in computer skills is recommended
