Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management
Course Information - Program Requirements


All courses are 3 credits
You must complete 18 credits

Students must take a minimum of four Health Care Management courses (12 credits). Students may take two generic management courses through The College of Business. Permission of advisor required for registation in any College of Business course (MBA courses).

Continuing on to a Master’s Degree

Admission to the College of Business is guaranteed to any student who attains a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better. Admission to the School of Health Technology and Management’s Master of Science Program also requires the student be a professional (licensed, certified or registered, if applicable) in a health field with at least one year of experience and who has completed the Graduate Record Exam within the past five years. Students must apply to the specific Master’s program they wish to pursue. Courses successfully completed during the certificate program may be directly applied to the Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management degree.
