Health
Care Management Concentration
|
These are the concentrations that are
available within the
Master's in Health Care Policy and Management |

This concentration
offers students the managerial knowledge, and skills required to effectively
and efficiently manage in today's dynamic health care marketplace. Courses
in this area address the following topics: organization and institutional
management, health law, health ethics, health information and communication,
program planning and evaluation, resource management, managed care, outcomes
research, ambulatory care, and health economics.
Students should meet with their advisor prior to selecting courses.
Required Courses – these five courses must be taken by
every student
Health Care Management Courses – students must complete
12-15 credits
Electives – students may take
six credits of electives from our other concentrations
