Health Care Policy Concentration


These are the concentrations that are available within the
Master's in Health Care Policy and Management

Students in this concentration are provided course work on crucial, timely health policies. Regular classes, group projects, and advanced seminars are used to help students acquire the ability to analyze and develop health policies. Policy areas include principles of managed care, health care and older people, public health policy, health policy and planning, food and nutrition policies, and occupational safety and health policies.

Required Courses - these five courses must be taken by every student

Health Policy Courses – students are required to take 15 credits of Health Policy courses

Electives – students may take six credits of electives from our other concentrations
