Non-Matriculated Status

If you missed the deadline for applying to the Master’s or Advanced Certificate programs, you may apply to become a non-matriculated student. Non-matriculated students are permitted to register for up to 12 credits while waiting to apply to the Master’s or Advanced Certificate programs.   (Twelve credits is the maximum number of credits you are permitted to take as a non-matriculated student.)  These 12 credits may be transferred to the Master’s Program.  Non-matric students can register for no more than 6 credits in any given semester.

You can download the non-matriculated form from our website.  If you begin as a non-matriculated student, you must apply to either the Master’s Program or the Advanced Certificate Program by February 15, 2007.   In early October 2006, please check our website for the online applications.

The Master’s Program requires GRE’s.  GRE’s must be taken by February 15, 2007.  Go to www.gre.org for test sites and dates.  Applicants must have completed one year of health-related work experience prior to February 15, 2007.  A bachelor’s degree must be completed prior to applying.

If you are completing the non-matriculated application on your computer, use the tab key to move around; use shift and the tab key to move backwards. To place an “x” in a box, press the space bar on your keyboard.

Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Completed non-matric forms should be sent to:
