Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management
Applicants for admission into our Master of Science program must:
- Prior to applying, applicants must hold a recognized baccalaureate
degree with a strong record of academic achievement (preference given
to a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale). Candidates
whose GPA is below the requirement may be considered if they have successfully
completed graduate courses, as advised by the department.
- Have appropriate
professional status (if applicable), ie: registration, certification
or licensure.
- A) Have taken the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or equivalent examination
within the last five years,
OR
B) Students who have successfully completed an accredited graduate
program prior to applying for HCPM may be accepted without having taken
the GRE's or equivalent test.
- A) Have completed not less than one year of full-time experience in
a health-related field,
OR
B) Be accepted into the department's full-time dietetic internship
program.
Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management
Applicants for admission into the Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management
program must:
- Must hold a recognized baccalaureate degree prior to applying to the
Advanced Certificate.
- Preference is given to those who have achieved an undergraduate grade
point average of 2.8 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Advanced Certificate in Community Health
We no longer offer an Advanced Certificate in Community
Health. Applicants who are interested in Community Health should contact
the Master’s in
Public Health.
