All applications are carefully reviewed by the program's admissions committee. Selected applicants are invited for personal interviews. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, nor does it guarantee an interview. Each candidate is evaluated based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, academic achievement, references, demonstrated concern for others, motivation and quality of past health care experience. The program enrolls approximately 40 students each year. Members of economically disadvantaged populations or under-represented minority groups are encouraged to apply. |
