Carol Russo earned her B.A. in Sociology from Springfield College, Springfield, MA. She earned her M.S.W. in Social Work from Stony Brook University.

Prior to joining the School of Health Technology and Management, Professor Russo worked in medical research, non-profit health, and corporate health management in various capacities that helped to hone her writing skills for publication and editing purposes including FDA requirements.

Professor Russo taught health professional writing and health care marketing for the Bachelor of Science in Health Science program for several years. She has responsibility for the upper-division writing requirement diagnosis and mentorship process. She also edits website and printed materials used by the School of Health Technology and Management.

With the advent of the transitional PA education program, Professor Russo will teach Research Writing for Health Professionals.
