Admission Policies for International Students


Admission to the post-professional masters program requires that the applicant have the preparation and ability that are sufficient, as noted by the program faculty, to enable satisfactory progress in the graduate degree curriculum.

Applicants who are not United States citizens or who do not hold permanent resident status should contact the Health Sciences Center Office of Student Services at 631-444-2111 before applying.

International students who choose to apply to the post-professional program must submit the following original documents in addition to the admissions requirements for all applicants.

  1. Course by course evaluation of foreign transcripts by World Education Services (WES) that includes a grade point average (GPA)
  2. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required if English is not your first language (www.toefl.org)
