Which General Chemistry Sequence Should I Take?


If you are a Stony Brook University student, there are two different General Chemistry course sequences. You may choose between them based upon your Mathematics preparation and enrollment and your interest and background in Chemistry. Most students enrolling in General Chemistry also enroll in a General Chemistry Laboratory course which is a requirement for physical therapy.

If you are not ready to take

Comlete your mathematical preparation

Take MAT 123 and CHE 129 in the Spring
