Admissions Requirements

U.S. licensed physical therapists are eligible to apply for admissions to the Post-Professional (Transition) DPT Program at Stony Brook University. Admission requirements include the following:

• Baccalaureate or Masters degree in physical therapy from an accredited college or university
• Official transcripts from ALL academic institutions attended
• A course by course evaluation of international transcripts, by an accredited credentialing agency, such as World Education Services (WES) or FCCPT, prior to consideration of an applicant’s admission packet
• Photocopy of current U.S. physical therapy license/registration
• Three recommendation letters from professional colleagues or professors (not currently enrolled SBU t-DPT students)
