Leadership
- In 2003, Stony Brook University was the first program on Long Island and one of the first in New York State to offer the Post-Professional t-DPT Program. The program continues to evolve and grow, creating new electives and providing faculty with the highest level of expertise. As of summer 2008, over 250 students have graduated with their Post-Professional t-DPT degree.
- Since its inception over 30 years ago, the Stony Brook University Department of Physical Therapy has developed many important links to health care within Stony Brook University and throughout Long Island. The Stony Brook University Department of Physical Therapy maintains a record of graduating innovative clinicians with exceptional leadership skills. Many graduates have become leaders in the local, state and national arenas within the workplace and professional associations. - The convenience of multiple locations and weekend seminars makes this program convenient and feasible for most practitioners throughout the Long Island and Metropolitan New York regions.
- The course of study can be completed on a part time basis in one and a half to two years.
Cost
