Patricia Bley is the Assistant to the Chair of Respiratory Care. Pat has worked for Stony Brook University since 1997.  She has experience with administration and is a certified medical assistant.  She had the privilege of coordinating the World Trade Center Pulmonary Study for First Responders and was involved with planning, creating and implementing the system which is used to assess the health related effects of the first responders to Ground Zero. Pat was also the coordinator and trainer for the Medical School’s Clinical Skills Center, a state of the art training center which is used to teach and evaluate medical students and practitioners using realistic clinical simulations with actors.  Pat loves the arts and is involved in many artistic as well as theatrical ventures in the community. She is a dedicated mother of 4 and grandmother of 2.
