Fay Wright earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration at Suffolk County Community College. She developed her administrative skills at state and county institutions and also in private industry. Mrs. Wright has been at Stony Brook University since 1998 and joined the School of Health Technology and Management in 1999 as a keyboard specialist for the Respiratory Care Program. Fay is currently the Assistant to the Chair for the Division of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Sciences, which consists of three programs: Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Cytotechnology, and Respiratory Care. She is a supervisor for the support staff and oversees the university work-study students within the division.

Mrs.Wright’s primary job responsibility is to assist the Division Chair and individual program directors in the day to day activities of the various programs within the division. Fay is also responsible for faculty and student support, is the coordinator for the division’s admissions process, and facilitates the various continuing education courses offered within the division. She also handles all purchases of computer equipment, classroom, and office supplies.

Fay is a very proud grandmother of seven, and she enjoys volunteering at her local church.
