• From New York City you can take the train to the Stony Brook stop which lets you off on campus. You would then take a free campus bus to the hospital.

Directions by Car

Take the Long Island Expressway east to Exit 62 North (which is Nicholls Road). The University Hospital is 13 miles due north of LIE Exit 62 (Nicholls Road). Remain on Nicholls Road and when you cross over route 347 you are going to the second traffic light and making a right (there will be signs for the Hospital and emergency room). At the second light make a left and go into the hospital parking garage. 

Directions from the Hospital Parking Garage

Walk through the main lobby of the hospital, past the hospital elevators, to the Health Sciences Center escalators. At this point you are on level 5 of the Health Sciences Center. Proceed down to level two via the escalators.  Turn right and follow the signs to the School of Health Technology and Management.

Directions from West Campus (walking) 

Use the tunnel that goes under Nicholls Road near the Life Sciences Building.  Stay on the tunnel walkway and enter the Health Sciences Center via the second floor patio.  Follow the signs to the School of Health Technology and Management.
