The membership is comprised of all recipients of the doctor of medicine degree or
Ph.D. from the Stony Brook University School of Medicine, and those trained as interns, residents,
and fellows in Stony Brook's postgraduate program. An elected Executive Committee, which consists
of the five officers of the board of directors, directs the alumni chapter. It serves as a link
between the School of Medicine and its graduates and helps alumni stay in touch with Stony Brook
while providing opportunities for social interaction, networking and volunteer services.
As a comparatively young institution, the School of Medicine just celebrated the 30th anniversary
of its first graduating class. Over time this group of individuals have relocated to almost every
state in the country and several international locations as well. Keeping tabs on this wide network
is not easy, but it is our goal to continue to be of value to all graduates.
We are always interested in what our graduates have been doing throughout the years. If you have

nformed about reunions, events in your area and news on a variety of issues. We invite you to submit
