You are an official alumnus of the Stony Brook School of Medicine if you are a recipient of a doctor of medicine or Ph.D. from Stony Brook University School of Medicine or if you were an intern, resident and fellow in our postgraduate program.

Over 40 School of Medicine (SOM) alumni and friends enjoyed a BBQ buffet and a beautiful view of the Long Island Sound on July 12. The 2009 SOM Reunion, held at the home of Debra Messina, MD '88 and her husband, George Coritsidis, MD, raised more than $2,500 for SB HOME (Health Outreach and Medical Education), a student-run medical clinic.
