Ting Nie

Dr. Nie received her Ph. D. from  the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry(SIOC), Chinese Academy of Sciences  and did postdoctoral work at the University of Delaware, prior to joining the Division of Cancer Prevention at Stony Brook. Her work took special interests in design, synthesis and characterization of unique organic molecules, polymers, polypeptides and biomacromolecules with emphasis on the development of synthetic methodologies that allow for the preparation of complex nanostructured materials, such as ECM mimic materials, nanoparticles for regenerative medicine. Currently she is working on delivery system in conjunction with our novel anti cancer drugs, as well as drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics.
