Dr. Lee is originally from California and completed his undergraduate program at UCLA. After completing his residency at Bellevue Hospital Center/NYU Medical Center, he worked at Flushing Hospital Medical Center for five years as an Associate Director and Director of Education. He implemented a core curriculum of Emergency Medicine to the house staff and gave monthly lectures at Flushing Hospital Medical Center.
Dr Lee has been an invited lecturer for Trauma/Emergency Medicine conferences in Italy and in Korea. He has many publications and has presented numerous abstracts at the American College of Emergency Physicians Research Forum. He is also a visiting professor at Yonsei Wonju University Hospital and Ajou University Hospital in Korea. He is involved in international EMS and resuscitation research.
Currently, he is teaches Introduction to Clinical Medicine II (ICM II) at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He currently is working on a pocket manual for Emergency Medicine residents. He is the Editor in Chief for the Journal of the Korean American Medical Association. His areas of interest are resident education, international emergency medicine, and EMS/trauma. |
