Application Process Timeline
January 8, 2009
- Stony Brook University’s Open House (3:00 pm)
January 26, 2009
- Deadline to apply for EARLY interviews (applications must be received by January 26)
Late January to Mid February 2009
- Telephone interviews for qualified early applicants
February 15, 2009
- GRE’s must be taken by February 15, 2009, if you are applying to the Master’s Program (Options II or III)
- GRE’s must be taken in time to have notification sent to the School of Health Technology and Management (SHTM) - scores must be received by June 2009
- Deadline for applying to the Master’s of Science in Health Care Policy and Management
February 17, 2009
- Deadline to apply to Stony Brook’s Dietetic Internship
- Deadline for D & D Digital Systems Computer Matching (applicants should confirm this date with D&D Digital)
Late February 2009
- Stony Brook telephone interviews by invitation
April 20, 2009
mid-April – June 2009
- Rolling admissions for Dietetic Internship
Early July 2009
- Summer Session II starts
- Dietetic Interns only – will take an on-line course; you do not need to move to the Stony Brook area until the end of August
- Dietetic Interns who are enrolled in the Master’s program – will take an on-line course AND two other Master’s courses (these courses MAY be offered on line; you may not need to move to the Stony Brook area until late August/early September)
