Program Highlights
Inpatient Family Medicine- is taught by our Family Medicine faculty which gives residents increasing responsibility over the three years- the third year resident functions as the junior attending, overseeing a busy service.
The Management of Health Systems rotation in the beginning of the third year that teaches you the business side of medicine and
assists you in preparing to go out and practice. We give you all tools you need to run an office and develop the career that you desire.
Our Community Medicine Rotation/Scholarly Activity Rotation- this rotation gives you an opportunity to develop a talk to a community
group, interact with the Public Health System and start a research project or write a case report for publication.
Our Night Float rotation is where residents in the first and second year rotate at night Sunday through Thursday on our inpatient
service allowing everyone else to be free of call during the week. This also allows our weekend call frequency to average approximately
once per month throughout the three years.
