Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program

Our accredited Vascular Neurology program integrates the management of ischemic and hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease in a JCAHO and Department of Health designated Stroke Center, with a unique patient care database application and a dedicated echo planar research MRI for diffusion and perfusion imaging, supplemented with non-invasive neurovascular evaluation.  Faculty is board certified in Vascular Neurology.

There are multiple acute care and preventive clinical trials as well as a variety of laboratory imaging research.  The stroke service works closely with neuroradiology, neurosurgery, and medicine to implement interventional and acute care services. Collaborative and independent research by the Fellow are strongly encouraged, especially if the available second year is elected.  This is a unique opportunity to practice academic medicine in a beautiful seaside environment.
