Elsie Owens Memorial Scholarship Fund
To provide a scholarship at the graduate level to a student in the School of Social Welfare, who demonstrates a history of overcoming one or
more major life obstacles or personal hardships, has demonstrated their skills as a leader and organizer who will also give priority to the
family, is a grassroots organizer or community advocate for the poor and disadvantaged in regard to social services, police, healthcare,
civil rights, utilities and/or levels of government. |
